Police: Multiple shot, including officer, in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON — Police said that multiple people, including a police officer, were shot earlier this evening in Washington, D.C.

The D.C. police said a Metro Police Department officer was shot and is in stable condition. They did not say how many other victims were shot or their conditions.

Police plan to hold a press conference on the shooting later this evening.
